The island-style keyboards provide strong tactile feedback and there is a good key size and placement even in the small laptops. As far as the prices are concerned one has to spend at least $1,299 to get a 13-inch-or-larger display. The Apple users are fervent about the brand. Apple is top on the list of innovative design as this brand always comes up with something fresh and creative.

 

3. ASUS:

most of their machinery is solid but design are simple due to which 10 out of 18 got 3.5 stars and only 1 (the G74SX-A2 gaming rig) managed to get  Editors’ Choice Award. The keyboards provide strong tactile feedback but the touch pad is unable to perform multitouch gesture smoothly. ASUS’ speakers are clear and loud. The prices of the laptops range from $209 to $2,269. ASUS has focus more toward hybrid devices. The customers are not much pleased with the brand as most of them complaint that the laptop which are sent for fixing are returned without repair.

 

4. Dell:

it is one of the most improved laptop brands. The five Alienware notebooks are reviewed, 4 out of 5 got 4 stars and 2 got Editors’ Choice Award. Dell is directing its efforts on thin and light designs. The keyboards provide strong tactile feedback with no nonsense designs. Dell has an improved tech support. The audio of dell laptops is simply superb. The users are satisfied with the product and the Ultrabook which incorporate Intel Smart Connect technology is an example of how innovative Dell is.

5. Hp:

Hp has an outstanding multimedia performance, glossy design and the best value. The HP rank has gone up as 13 put of its 16 machines are awarded with 4 stars. When the Hp product is reviewed one comes to know that they are serious about designs. Users don’t face any problem with the Hp keyboards.  Hp has Beats Audio in most of its machinery. The prices of the laptops range from $456 to the $3,398. There are only few complaints reported by the customers .Hp doesn’t take risk by creating something new rather they are busy in improving the existing technology.

It is also one of the top brands due to the excellent quality. They are introducing new styles of keyboard i.e. chiclet-style keyboard. Lenovo’s displays offer good viewing angles and the speakers sound accurate and loud. Lenovo prices and design are not as diverse as HP and Dell but still due to the good quality they are liked by the users. Lenovo is offering power Manager for conserving battery, rescue and recovery for backup, password manager and many other features.

 

7. Samsung:

Samsung has limited designs and variety as compare to others but it is still in the list due to its attractive designs and solid support. The keyboards provide strong tactile feedback. The Company also uses button less click pads as well. Most of the Samsung laptops have standard resolution and the audio quality is also not up to the mark. As far as the innovation is concerned, the company was the first to release a Google Chrome-powered Chrome book, there are no complaints reported by the customers about the brand.

Sony is good at playing with colors as it offers various colors of its product. They usually have highly accurate two-button design for its touchpad, though the buttons are at times hard to use and quite stiff. Most of the Sony’s laptops have high rice only two models cost less than $1,000. Sony is so good that most of the users said that it is just behind the Apple.

Toshiba has also earned its name due to the quality and designs. They offer decent designs of keyboards yet they couldn’t manage to get tactile feedback as the glossy keys are difficult to operate.
