As per the recent Economic Survey of India 2011, done on Friday, the Indian cultivation has expanded by 5.4 per cent in year 2011 from 0.4 per cent in year 2010.

The reason for such development in the farm has been made possible by newly introduced technologies as well as elevated schemes by the government in this segment.

According to primary analysis, the immense food stuff demands by the public and consequently low contribution of the items had upshot to raise the prices of the victual items.

The intensification of the crops is due to torrential rain this year, said the survey. However, there should be an increase in crops by 8.5 per cent by next year so as to reach the objective of Eleventh Economic Plan, which is from year 2007 to year 2012, added survey.

As suggested by the scrutiny, the animal’s farm, fish farm, dairy farm, rooster farmhouse and horticulture should also be taken in consideration by the government. Indian cultivation should broaden the horizons in these sectors besides field crops.

The Economic Survey also stated that the Indian cultivation has been confronted till date.  The damage in the terra firma of the crop and improper dispatch of the food items have been the reason for same.

Hence, they set an order to focus on the deliveries of goods as well as the land quality to conquer this confrontation.

The survey also recommended some essential funds to provide the agriculture with soaring road and rail network; appropriate places and equipments to stock up the victual bits and pieces.
